The
Marmara Pera Hotel where all of the
Non-Student participants will be staying is located at
Tepebasi Square, Beyoglu, Istanbul. It is a big, tall building impossible
to miss. The hotel is 10-15 minutes walking distance from the Conference
venue.
Our assistants will guide you from the hotel to the Conference building at 8.30 in the morning on the first day of the Conference.

The taxi ride should cost about 16-20 New Turkish Liras or 10-12 Euros.

Student participants will be staying at two hotels :
The following will be staying at Galata Apart Hotel,
within 3 minutes of the Conference venue. The address is : Bankalar Caddesi,
Felek Sokak, Karaköy.

The most convenient way to get to the Galata Apart Hotel is to take a taxi at the airport, outside international arrivals terminal.Please tell the driver : Karaköy Meydani (Karaköy Square) .
The taxi ride should cost about 15-18 New Turkish Liras or 9-11
Euros.
The Galata Apart Hotel is located at the street above Bankalar Caddesi
, less than 100 meters away from Karaköy Square. It is not easy for
taxis to reach the hotel from Karaköy Square, however.
After you get off the taxi at Karaköy Square, walk away from the bridge towards Bankalar Caddesi (Bankalar Street) on the left. Go up the stairs next to Imar Bank. Felek Sokak is the second street on your left. Please see the map.
Alternatively, you can take the tram-metro line (same thing) from the airport. This ride will cost you less than 2 Euros.Find and get on the tram-metro line at the airport. Change at Zeytinburnu. Choose Findikli (same as Kabatas) as destination. Get off the tram at Karaköy station.
After you get off the tram at Karaköy, walk away from the bridge

All other student participants
will be staying at Hotel Yenisehir Palas, located at
Tepebasi, next to the Marmara Pera Hotel where non-student participants
of the conference will be staying.

If you are interested in a place for dinner or a late night drink, enter
the street between the Marmara Pera and Hotel Yenisehir Palas Hotels,
take first left and then the first right. You will arrive at a neighborhood
of on-the-street restaurants and bars which is very popular with tourists.
A late night walk on the main avenue, "Istiklal Caddesi" which
is one block from these two hotels is also recommended.
